A User's Guide to Qualitative Research in Health Care http://www.cche.net/usersguides/qualitative.asp Site Reviews(6) The Centre for Health Evidence (CHE) is a multi-disciplinary initiative that brings universities, health organizations, and professional associations together. CHE supports the learning, teaching, and practice of evidence-based health care.
We provide a number of educational, consultation, and technical services, including building customized Internet Desktops.
Our directors have guided CHE through years of consistent growth, bringing us to our current staff complement of twenty full-time positions.
CHE employs highly resourceful and creative individuals. In order to carry out our goal of being an innovative leader in clinical decision support and health informatics, CHE hires people with a wide range of skills and experience. These skill sets include, but are not limited to, library science, information technology, computer programming, health service delivery, and administration.
The Centre for Health Evidence is positioned within Health Information Management in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. We are a not-for-profit entity, funded entirely by grants and service agreements. We believe that operating within the academic sector provides greater intellectual freedom, free of commercial interests. This environment promotes collaboration, encourages discussion and change across organizations, and allows us to function on a cost-recovery rather than a for-profit financial model.
